Why this exists
Zompliroundupp started in 2023 as a shared document between friends who were tired of keeping forty tabs open "to read later". The document became a weekly email, the email became this site, and the tabs, mercifully, got closed. The premise has not changed: one weekly pass that tells you what changed on the useful web and whether it deserves your attention.

Independence
We accept no advertising, sponsorship, affiliate fees or gifted subscriptions. Companies cannot pay to be included, reviewed favourably or removed. The site is funded by its founders and a small number of reader contributions that carry no editorial influence.
Corrections
We get things wrong occasionally. When we do, we fix the item, add a dated correction line at its foot and never silently rewrite history. Report an error via the Tips page.
